BA in Italian and Italian Diaspora Studies

The Italian and Italian diaspora studies major provides students with an interdisciplinary course of study that exposes them to the language, literature, history, and culture of Italy and its diaspora. In line with the latest approaches in the field, this program highlights the global and transnational dimensions of the Italian experience by integrating into its curriculum Italian emigrants and their children in the United States and throughout the world as well as the experiences of new immigrants into Italy today.
