Mount Ranks Among Best Small Colleges in Nation

Money magazine has published its annual college issue and the University of Mount Saint Vincent has placed as one of the highest-ranking Best Small Colleges, coming in at #46 in the nation.

Money’s recognition celebrates that the University of Mount Saint Vincent provides exceptional, life-changing opportunities for students of every background,” said Mount President Charles L. Flynn, Jr. “I’m delighted, not only with the recognition, but also with the knowledge that our students and faculty deserve it.”

The Best Small Colleges list includes colleges and universities that provide students a more intimate academic experience with fewer than 5,000 students.

The College also ranked #141 overall on the publication’s list of Best Colleges for Your Money 2018.

According to Money, 727 colleges and universities across the country were ranked based on factors that combine educational quality, affordability, and alumni success. Both rankings were determined by data calculated from the U.S. Department of Education, Peterson’s, and PayScale.
