Adjunct Professor of Studio Art and Watercolor Painting
The College of Mount Saint Vincent is an academically excellent, authentically inclusive, Catholic and ecumenical liberal arts college with approximately 1,500 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students, located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York City. The Division of Communication, Art, and Media is seeking a qualified instructor of studio art to teach one course in watercolor painting, color theory, and drawing on Wednesday afternoons for undergraduate visual art majors, art history majors, and generalists beginning in September 2020. The applicant would also be welcome to arrange one, or two daytime, or evening courses in future semesters.
- The applicant will have completed an M.F.A. or M.A. in fine arts, studio art, art education, or a related degree with some coursework in painting, printmaking, or installation art. We would also consider applicants with an M.A. degree and professional experience in the fine arts.
