Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor

Job Description
The College of Mount Saint Vincent School of Nursing is seeking applicants for clinical teaching opportunities at clinical facilities that serve our Riverdale and Long Island City, NY campus locations. The Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor is responsible for instructing nursing students during their on-site clinical experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
These positions require the ability to effectively provide clinical instruction and evaluation of nursing students in one or more of the following clinical areas:

  • Fundamentals
  • Pediatric
  • Parent Child
  • Medical Surgical
  • Psychiatric
  • Community Health

This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking opportunities to teach in a nursing program. Course assignments may also be available for teaching: nursing laboratory, simulation, lecture

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in nursing.
  • Strong interpersonal, public speaking and writing skills
  • Ability to represent the College in a professional manner
  • Ability to work with confidential information and exercise discretion
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively solve problems, and initiate and implement projects independently
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team focused and ability to work within groups
