7.2 Americans with Disabilities Act

The College is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities, which includes providing reasonable accommodations whenever possible. In general, it is the employee’s responsibility to notify the supervisor of the need for accommodation. Upon doing so, the supervisor may ask the employee for input as to the type of accommodation they believe may be necessary. Also, when appropriate, the College may need the employee’s permission to obtain additional information from the staff member’s physician or other medical or rehabilitation professionals.
