Welcome New Students!
Congratulations on your admission to the College of Mount Saint Vincent! We are so excited to welcome you into our Mount family.
Thank you to all of those new students who participated in Virtual Orientation and the in-person Orientation sessions earlier this summer!
If you are a new first-year student who did not attend an Orientation session OR you are a new transfer student, we invite you to join us on September 4, 2020 for the Transfer and Makeup Orientation Session. Orientation at the Mount offers you the opportunity to meet other students, obtain your ID card, review your class schedule, connect with faculty and staff, and learn more about Mount Saint Vincent, so you are prepared for the first day of class!
In following state guidelines on group limitations as well as CDC recommendations on social distancing, we will be offering two sessions on September 4, 2020. The morning session will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the afternoon session will run from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Students only need to attend one session.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Student Activities, Leadership and Commuter Life at (718) 405-3397 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All new first-year students are required to complete a Course Preference Form. The form assists the Oxley Integrated Advising Program team in creating your Fall class registration. Please note that transfer credits, AP and/or IB scores must be sent to the Office of Admission as soon as possible in order to create a schedule that reflects these credits and/or scores.
New Transfer Students will need to contact the Oxley Integrated Advising Center at email@example.com to setup an appointment with an advisor, where you will create your schedule.
Students who live on campus must complete a housing application. Students will receive additional information regarding roommates, what to pack and move-in procedures in the coming week.
To set up your email, please view the tutorial videos on how to assess canvas, setting up your email account, and accessing Self-Service. For additional questions or assistance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please review your Dolphin to Do list prior to your arrival to Orientation. There are additional mandatory items, such as health insurance requirements, immunization requirements, etc.
On behalf of the Orientation staff, we are looking forward to meeting you all over the coming months. Please email us at email@example.com and/or call us at (718)405-3397 if you have any questions.
