Please send us your official transcripts in sealed envelopes, from each college or university you have attended. All credentials from foreign institutions require a World Education Services (WES) evaluation.
The recommended undergraduate GPA is 3.0, but students below this GPA have the opportunity to justify a waiver.
Two Letters of Recommendation
Two (2) letters of recommendation—one professional and one academic preferred.
References and transcripts can be sent separately or as part of the complete application. Both references and transcripts should be sent in envelopes sealed by the individual issuing the reference or the college issuing the official transcript. Copies and open envelopes are unofficial documents and will not be accepted.

Once the online application is submitted, candidates are contacted to schedule an interview with the review committee.
In addition to the requirements previously listed, international students must report a passing score of an English proficiency test and other pertinent forms:
- TOEFL computer-based: 213
- TOEFL paper-based: 575
- TOEFL internet-based: 88
- IELTS: 7.0
Please note: Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores are not required for admission.
U.S. applicants must have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the end date of your last term abroad. If you do not have a passport, apply immediately.
Additional Requirements – Concurrent Degree in M.S. in International Development and Service and M.B.A.
To be considered for the concurrent degree applicants must additionally submit:
- Online application (M.B.A.)
- Current Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Submit an essay on why you would like to pursue an M.B.A.
Please note: To be admitted to the College of Mount Saint Vincent’s M.B.A. program, international applicants must meet Mount Saint Vincent’s language criteria for acceptance with a TOEFL score of 80 or better or an IELTS score of 6.5 or better, and a GMAT score of 530 or better.

The program fee is all inclusive, covering tuition and college based fees. Additionally, the fee is guaranteed not to increase for students throughout the 2 years of the program.

- Room and partial board overseas

- Excursions for semesters abroad
- Program Fee does not cover:
- Airfare to international destinations
- Room and board in New York
- Health Insurance in NY
- Couse materials
- Visa and passport costs
- Personal spending money
Students receive a room and partial board during their two overseas semesters. Living arrangements overseas include homestays, dorm stays, and private apartments, depending on the location. In New York, the College of Mount Saint Vincent offers graduate housing options at low market rate for NYC. Please inquire to learn more. Students are responsible for room and board costs in NYC.
