Year-End Giving

The College of Mount Saint Vincent will be closed beginning December 24, 2021 in celebration of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The College will reopen Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

The Office of Institutional Advancement knows the last days of the year can be important to finalize gifts in order to receive a tax deduction. Below is some helpful information about ways of giving to ensure your contribution is credited to the 2021 calendar year.

  • Gifts can be made online at mountsaintvincent.edu/giving
  • Checks should be dated and postmarked on or before December 31
  • Gifts of securities may be made by contacting the College’s broker:

  • Taxpayers age 70 ½ or older can make tax-free charitable gifts of up to $100,000 per year directly from their Individual Retirement Accounts to eligible charities, including colleges, universities and independent schools. To make a gift via the IRA Charitable Rollover, please contact your IRA plan administrator to obtain their specific transmittal form.
