Join CMSV Business Faculty Member on a 12-Day Trip to China in January 2012

Riverdale, N.Y. – Dr. Teresita Ramirez, chair of the Department of Business and Economics at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, will lead a 12-day trip to China this January. The group will depart from New York on January 2, 2012 and return on January 13. This voyage is open to all members of the community. The trip itinerary includes visits to Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, and viewing historical sites including the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square. This three-credit course examines the economic policies, as well as the political, historical and cultural factors that have shaped China’s emergence in the global economy.

The cost of the tour is $3,023, which includes all transportation, accommodations, daily breakfast, seven dinners, and all sightseeing tours. The sightseeing tours will include three business visits, one cultural exchange meeting, and entrances to special attractions. There is an installment plan available for anyone interested. Participants may join the tour only, or have the option to earn three academic credits by registering for the class “China in the Global Economy.”
