U.S. News and World Report Ranks the College as a Top School in its Annual Survey
The University of Mount Saint Vincent is one the best schools in the North according to US News and World Report’s America’s Best Colleges 2006. The College is featured in the “Universities-Master’s” category with along with other institutions in the North region that offer both undergraduate and master’s level programs.
US News and World Report publishes the America’s Best College’s edition as a resource for students in selecting a college, and is widely recognized as a source of reliable and consistent data. The rankings are based on several measures of quality, which fall into seven broad categories: peer assessment; graduation and retention rate; faculty resources; student selectivity; financial resources; alumni giving; and graduation rate performance.
Mount Saint Vincent’s top-tier ranking recognizes the quality and strength of the College’s faculty, students and academic programs. These programs include more than 30 undergraduate major programs and master’s degree programs in nursing, and urban and multicultural education. A Master’s of Business Administration program with a specialization in Healthcare Administration is expected to launch in January 2006.
