Annual Lenten Lecture: “Lord, Help Me!”

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent presents, “Lord, Help Me! Praying with Dorothy Day this Lent,” with Dianne M. Traflet, J.D., S.T.D., for the annual Lenten Lecture on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the President’s Reception Room.

This presentation focuses on Dorothy Day’s Lenten prayer titled, “Lord, Help Me.” There will also be discussion on the various challenges of Dorothy Day’s life and on Cardinal John O’Connor’s description of her as a modern-day saint.

Dianne Traflet is the Associate Dean and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology, and Founder and Co-Director of the Institute for Christian Spirituality at the Immaculate Conception Seminary of Seton Hall University.

The event is co-sponsored by the Office of Alumnae/i Relations, Campus Ministry, and the Mission Committee.
