Annual Scholarship Tribute Dinner at the New York Public Library

Riverdale, N.Y. — The University of Mount Saint Vincent hosted its annual Scholarship Tribute Dinner at the New York Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013. This year, the event raised over $470,000 towards scholarship funds for talented and deserving students.

This year, the College honored David Walsh of Carmel, N.Y., president and chief executive officer of Amalgamated Life Insurance Company and CEO of ALICO Services Corporation, and his wife, artist and theater producer Alice Chebba Walsh. This year’s recipient of the Saint Vincent De Paul Award was His Eminence Edward Cardinal Egan, Archbishop Emeritus of New York. Scholarship Tribute Dinner honorees are recognized for their business acumen, commitment to education, and support of the College’s mission.
