CMSV Employee Honored by New York City Saint Patrick’s Parade Committee

Riverdale, N.Y. – The College is proud to announce that Catherine Marshall, long-term employee of the University of Mount Saint Vincent, has been selected to represent Westchester County by the New York City Saint Patrick’s Parade Committee. Ms. Marshall will be installed as an aide to the Grand Marshall for this year’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. In addition to marching with aides representing New York City boroughs and neighboring counties, Ms. Marshall will be honored at a ceremony on February 23, 2014.

Ms. Marshall is being honored for her many years of service and leadership in the local community. She is the current Chairperson of Board of Directors for the American Irish Association of Westchester County and is the Vice President of the Westchester County Ladies Hibernians. She is a volunteer producer of the Emerald Focus Westchester Cablevision Public Access Television Show and is an active member of many organizations including the Yonkers Third Precinct Police Community Council and the Yonkers Mayor’s Community Relations Committee.

Ms. Marshall has served the Office of Registrar and Student Accounts at the University of Mount Saint Vincent for the past 17 years.  She is a member of the College’s Mission and Ministry Committee and serves as chairperson of the College’s Staff Council.
