CMSV Professors Showcase Art in Tri-state Area

Riverdale, N.Y. – Two members of the faculty in fine arts at the University of Mount Saint Vincent will showcase their expertise in two arts-related events later this month.

Associate Professor of Fine Arts Enrico Giordano has created Reflections, an exhibit showing at the Art Gallery at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve in Pleasantville, N.Y., running from September 7, 2014 through October 19, 2014. The exhibit is a collaborative effort between Professor Giordano and Edward Walsh and features diverse, artistic images incorporating evolved, textured effects.

Additionally, Associate Professor of Fine Arts Richard Barnet will be speaking at mixed media installations opening in the area this month. Professor Barnet will offer his perspective on the exhibit, Beware of the Year 7000, which will be on display at the City Lights Gallery in Bridgeport, Conn., through October 23, and at the Trailer Box Gallery in Danbury, Conn., through November 1. The City Lights Gallery opening reception will be held on September 25 at 5:30 p.m. and the Trailer Box Gallery opening reception will be held on September 27 at 5:00 p.m.
