CMSV Theater Company-in-Residence Red Monkey Theater Group Offers Shakespearean Acting Workshop April 7 & April 14

Riverdale, N.Y. – Red Monkey Theater Group, the University of Mount Saint Vincent’s theater company-in-residence, will offer a two-part master class, “Acting Shakespeare,” on Sunday, April 7, and Sunday, April 14 from 2-4 p.m. in Cahill Theater at the College’s Riverdale campus.

Red Monkey Artistic Director Tal Aviezer will present a two-part exploration of Shakespearean scenes and monologues. Students will have the opportunity to workshop scenes and monologues selected by themselves and/or the instructor. The workshops will cover textual analysis and performance technique.

The participation fee is $40, and is FREE for CMSV students and staff. Space is limited. Interested parties should email info@redmonkeytheater.org.
