CMSV Welcomes Archbishop Dolan and Order of Malta for Lenten Morning of Reflection April 2, 2011

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent is pleased to welcome His Excellency Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan and members of the Order of Malta and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre on Saturday, April 2, 2011for a “Lenten Morning of Reflection.”

The day’s activities include a talk at 9:30 AM, a second talk at 10:30 AM, and a Mass in the Chapel, located in the college’s Administration Building, at 11:15 AM. These events are free and open to members of the College community, including, students, faculty, administrators, alumni and Trustees.

The Order of Malta is a worldwide, lay, religious order of the Roman Catholic Church, which seeks to glorify God by promoting the sanctification of each member through his or her work with the sick and the poor and defense of the Catholic faith. The organization holds a Day of Reflection twice a year, during Advent and Lent, in conjunction with the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre.
