CMSV Welcomes His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan and Order of Malta for Lenten Morning of Reflection on March 22, 2014

Riverdale, N.Y. The University of Mount Saint Vincent is pleased to welcome His Eminence Cardinal Timothy Dolan and members of the Order of Malta and the Order of the Holy Sepulchre on Saturday, March 22, 2014 for a Lenten Morning of Reflection.

Breakfast and registration begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by talks from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., in Smith Hall Mass begins at 11:15 a.m. in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, all located in Founders Hall. The homilist will be His Eminence Cardinal Dolan, Principal Chaplain of the Order of Malta American Association.

Previously, the College welcomed Cardinal Dolan for the Order of Malta’s Lenten Reflection in 2011 and at the first New York Catholic Youth Day in 2013.

The Order of Malta is a worldwide, lay, religious order of the Roman Catholic Church, which seeks to glorify God by promoting the sanctification of each member through his or her work with the sick, the poor, and the defense of the Catholic faith. The organization holds a Day of Reflection twice a year, during Advent and Lent, in conjunction with the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre.
