College of Mount Saint Vincent Announces Partnership with BalaSole Dance Company

Riverdale, N.Y.  – The University of Mount Saint Vincent is proud to announce its partnership with BalaSole Dance Company, which will become the Mount’s dance company in residence.

Roberto Villanueva, the founder and artistic director of the company, created the dance company in an effort to welcome dance artists of all different backgrounds and give them an opportunity to shine. The BalaSole Dance Company has previously performed at the Baryshnikov Arts Center’s Jerome Robbins Theater, Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and New York Live Arts.

The dance company will showcase a new program at Ailey Citigroup Theater on July 14 and 15, 2012. Mr. Villanueva will join as an adjunct faculty in September at the Mount. The University of Mount Saint Vincent is proud to welcome the BalaSole Dance Company to the campus.
