College of Mount Saint Vincent Center for International Studies Presents “Glocalization: Community Beyond Borders”

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent Center for International Studies will host “Glocalization: Community Beyond Borders,” as part of its Fall 2011 Faculty Cultural Seminars at 4 p.m. November 17, 2011 in Science Hall, Room 101 on the College’s Riverdale campus.

Keynote speaker Dr. Ron Scapp is the founding director of the College’s graduate program in Urban and Multicultural Education. He currently serves as the College’s Director of Program Development and Interim President of the National Association for Ethnic Studies. Dr. Scapp is also a professor of humanities and teacher education.

The event is free and open to the public.
