College of Mount Saint Vincent Collaborates with St. John’s for Sociology Degree

Colleges Offering Accelerated Bachelors/Masters Program

The University of Mount Saint Vincent and St. John’s University will be jointly offering an accelerated five year program in Sociology. Students will be able to receive their Bachelor of Arts at the Mount in Sociology, and attend St. John’s for their Masters of Arts in either Sociology or in Criminology and Justice. This is the first collaborative effort between the two colleges.

Through this program, students will have a number of careers to choose from including law, doctoral programs, social work, public service, health administration, market research and corporate management, law enforcement, crime scene investigation, and many others.

Both the Mount and St. John’s are known for their high standards and providing students with the skills needed to succeed beyond college. They have a shared history in being two Catholic institutions of higher learning founded in the Vincentian Tradition.
