College of Mount Saint Vincent School of Professional & Continuing Studies Presents “You’re All Heart” Nonprofit Luncheon

2/8/2012

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent Center is hosting “You’re All Heart,” a luncheon to celebrate not-for-profit organizations, honor the Mount’s partnership with the Hebrew Home in Riverdale, and introduce the College’s “Partnering in Excellence” initiative from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 16, 2012.

“Partnering in Excellence” is an initiative intended to illustrate a commitment to excellence within the business community. In order for businesses to provide quality to their customers, they must have employees who continue to grow and develop their core competencies. In a changing economy, many businesses find that they must do more with less, and often times, this equals less opportunity for professional development. Yet a changing economy requires highly qualified workers in order to remain competitive.

The University of Mount Saint Vincent understands this dilemma and has developed the “Partnering in Excellence” initiative to help businesses continue to provide their employees with opportunities for professional development, which indicates a commitment to excellence in quality outputs, retaining employees, community partnerships, and enhancing the bottom line.
