College of Mount Saint Vincent to Host 2013 Reunion Weekend

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent will celebrate its annual Reunion Weekend Friday, June 7 through to Sunday, June 9, 2013. Attending this year’s event are the classes ending in “3” and “8” (from 1943 to 2008), with special tribute to the Class of 1963, celebrating their 50th reunion, and the Class of 1988, celebrating their 25th reunion.

Events planned throughout the Weekend include a Friday night “Welcome-Back BBQ,” a Champagne Reception; and a Saturday evening Mass commemorating the Class of 1963. On Saturday afternoon, Dr. David Aliano, Chair and Assistant Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures will give a lecture on “Mussolini’s National Project in Argentina” based on his newly-published book with the same title.

Another speaker, Sheila Walker Hartwell from Hartwell Planning LLC, will discuss “Personal Financial Planning: A Customized Road Map for Your Future.” Current Mount student, Todd Gable ’15, will host the popular walking tour: “Haunted History & Lore: A Tour of the Mount by Night.”
