College of Mount Saint Vincent to Host Start Smart Salary Negotiation Workshop

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent will host the Start Smart Salary Negotiation Workshop on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Back Room of Hudson Heights.

Start Smart will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to successfully negotiate a professional salary and benefit package. The presentation also addresses discrimination in the workplace and overcoming the gender pay gap.

The event is sponsored by the Department of Sociology, the Mentors Program at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and The WAGE (Women are Getting Even) Project.
