College of Mount Saint Vincent Welcomes Over 300 Alumnae/i at 2013 Reunion

Riverdale, N.Y. – More than 300 Reunion attendees celebrated their alma mater at the University of Mount Saint Vincent last week. The three-day Reunion Weekend was attended by classes ending in “3” and “8” (from 1943 to 2008), with special tribute to the Class of 1963, celebrating their 50th reunion, and the Class of 1988, celebrating their 25th reunion.

During the Saturday Luncheon, the Class of 1948 was presented with a special proclamation from New York City Council honoring their service and achievement. Read more about the Proclamation and click to view the 2013 Reunion Weekend Photo Galleries.

This year’s special events included a “Welcome Back BBQ,” a Champagne Reception, special presentations by guest speaker Sheila Walker Hartwell, founder of Hartwell Planning LLC, who discussed “Personal Financial Planning: A Customized Road Map for Your Future” and faculty member Dr. David Aliano, Chair and Assistant Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures, who gave a lecture on “Mussolini’s National Project in Argentina,” based on his new book, and a late-night ghost tour.
