Dr. Debra Migliore Appointed as Acting Director of the Division of Nursing

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent is pleased to announce that Dr. Debra Migliore has been appointed Acting Director of the Division of Nursing. Dr. Migliore will lead the Nursing Program, taking over the role previously held by Dean Susan Saladino, who has left the College to pursue other interests.

A passionate nurse and nursing educator, Dr. Migliore previously served as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the Mount. Her areas of interest include research ethics, public responsibility in medicine and research, and eating disorders.

“Debra Migliore is an excellent choice as Acting Director for the Division of Nursing,” says Dr. Sarah Stevenson, Provost and Dean of Faculty. “Dr. Migliore brings to the position a wealth of classroom and hospital experience, and I look forward to her leadership.”

Dr. Migliore completed multiple nursing degrees, including her A.A.S. degree at Misericordia University, her B.S. degree at Mercy College, her M.S. degree at Western Connecticut State University, and her Ph.D. degree at Rutgers.
