First Annual Festival of the Arts at the College of Mount Saint Vincent

11/20/2013

Riverdale, N.Y. – Students at the University of Mount Saint Vincent will host the first annual Festival of the Arts in Maryvale Hall on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. The evening will feature performances in dance, spoken word, and music performed by faculty, staff, and student groups, including WORDS and Filament. The event will also launch the twelfth issue of the student-run literary journal, The Underground.

This event represents the growing revitalization of the arts at the University of Mount Saint Vincent. The Mount recently launched two Fine Arts programmatic initiatives: a new degree in Visual Arts and Experimental Media and the re-launch of the major in Fine Arts. In October 2013, the College unveiled a state-of-the-art Fine Arts studio in Maryvale Hall.
