Red Monkey Theater Group Featured in The Riverdale Press

Riverdale, N.Y. – Red Monkey Theater Group (RMTG)—the University of Mount Saint Vincent’s resident theater company—was featured in the March 23, 2018 Riverdale Press article, “To be, or not to be, a short version of a beloved play.” The article features the abridged, fast-paced, 100-minute adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The energetic, scaled-down, intimate staging production of Hamlet aims to remove as many barriers as possible between the Bard’s words and the audience.

The article features a discussion with RMTG Artistic Director Tal Aviezer, taking readers behind the scenes to discover the reasoning behind trimming the famed play.
