Red Monkey Theater Group Presents Becky Shaw

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent’s resident theater company, Red Monkey Theater Group (RMTG), will present Becky Shaw, Saturday, February 20 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 21 at 2 p.m. Both performances will be held in Cahill Theater, and are free for University of Mount Saint Vincent students and staff with College ID.

The play is an adaptation of Gina Gionfriddo’s high-voltage comedy of manners and tangled love lives. The performance is directed by Joe Laureiro, with a cast including Holland Renton, Sean M. Grady, Kelly Kirby, Ray Frye, and Zoey Rutherford.

Becky Shaw is the third performance of Red Monkey Theater Group’s 2015-2016 “Season of Truth and Lies,” exploring the themes of betrayal, trust, deception, and revelation. This season also includes an April 2016 production of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.
