Red Monkey Theater Group Presents “The Zoo Story” at the Mount

2/4/2014

Red Monkey Theater Group (RMTG), the University of Mount Saint Vincent’s theater company-in-residence, is proud to present The Zoo Story a modern one-act classic of provocative humor and unrelenting suspense, performed together with DANCE IN CAHILL 3, a pair of thrilling modern dance pieces by Jessica Burns and the (Alex)andra Taylor Dance Company. Performances are February 22 at p.m. and February 23 at 2 p.m. in Cahill Theater at the University of Mount Saint Vincent.

“We’re delighted to share this ‘double-feature’ of dark comedy and original dance with our audience,” says RTMG Artistic Director Tal Aviezer. “It’s a pleasure to present a modern classic by Edward Albee, and to showcase the creativity of emerging young dancers and choreographers. To be able to do so in a single evening, in a beautiful new theater at an affordable single-ticket price, is a wonderful way to showcase the artistic range of our company and the versatility of Cahill Theater as a performance space.”

Tickets are on sale at www.redmonkeytheater.org for $20 general admission, $15 for students and seniors. University of Mount Saint Vincent students and staff will be admitted free with IDs.
