Student and Faculty Art Exhibit Returns to Blue Door Art Center

Riverdale, N.Y. –  The work of more than 20 Mount Saint Vincent students will be featured in the Blue Door Art Center’s second consecutive faculty and student exhibition, titled Mixed Bag. The show, curated by students and faculty from the College, will take place at Blue Door in Yonkers, N.Y. from April 28 through May 27.

Participants include Brian Alonzo ’18; Helen Amirian ’19; Angelina Biondo ’20; Melissa Enriquez ’17; Lourisel Inoa ’17; Shannon Keeney ’17; Scott A. Lister ’17; Ashley Lushinsky ’20; Marisa A. Marmo ’17; Deja A. Miller ’17; Keyona L. Morrison ’17; Deanna J. Nardi ’19; Catherine Pena ’18; Tyler Pingol ’18; Tiffany Poteat; Alyzza Reyes ’17; Brendan J. Ryan ’20; Mandy Sherer; Jenna C. Solazzo ’17; Rachel Steimel ’17; Terina Underwood ’20; and Emily Welch ’19.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with Blue Door,” said Enrico Giordano, Interim Chair and Associate Professor of Fine Arts. “The exhibition features work in a variety of styles, mediums, and subjects, ranging from realism, abstraction, and imagistic symbolism to digital and video art. This is a particularly strong exhibition of student and faculty work, both experimentally and traditionally.”

The work of several Mount faculty members, including Mr. Giordano, will also be included.
