The College of Mount Saint Vincent Hosts 101st Commencement on May 18, 2013

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent will hold its 101st Commencement at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 on the Riverdale campus. This year, more than 350 students will receive undergraduate and graduate degrees from the College.

On Friday, May 17, 2013, there will be a separate Baccalaureate Awards and Hooding Ceremony, Mass and reception to be held on campus. The Awards and Hooding ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. in Hayes Auditorium, Grace Center. The Baccalaureate Mass will be held at 5 p.m. on the same day in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception in Founders Hall, for all graduates and their guests. Following the Mass, a reception will take place in Smith Hall, which is located in The Academy (South Wing) of Founders Hall, on the second floor.

The 2013 Commencement Speaker is Vikki Pryor, founding principal of Change Create Transform. Ms. Pryor has been named one of the 75 Most Powerful African American Women in Business by Black Enterprise and twice named as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in New York by Crain’s New York Business.
