4/27/2018
Riverdale, N.Y. – Mount Saint Vincent’s commitment to innovative, high-impact educational practices, as well as its transformative effect on the lives of its students, has been recognized by College Consensus, a unique, comprehensive new college review aggregator, in their survey of top-ranked schools for 2018 in two categories: Best Regional Universities-North and Best Catholic Colleges and Universities. This new ranking guides prospective college students and their families as they evaluate educational options by identifying the best regional universities, according to the combination of published rankings and student reviews.
The College Consensus method allows every institution—from the richest and best-known university to the smallest and hardest-working regional college, such as Mount Saint Vincent—to demonstrate what they do best. To identify 2018’s best regional colleges and universities in the North, College Consensus combined the latest results from the most respected college rankings with thousands of real student reviews to produce a unique consensus score for each school.
“Like Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic does for movies, College Consensus gathers the publisher rankings and student reviews from around the web and distills the results into simple, easy to understand scores so students can quickly and easily compare schools,” said College Consensus founder Jeremy Alder. “It is the ranking of all rankings, so to speak.”
College Consensus is a new approach to college rankings that combines the latest results from the most respected college ranking systems with thousands of real student review scores from around the web to produce an aggregate College Consensus rating for each school.
