Orientation and Move-In

Congratulations on your acceptance to the College of Mount Saint Vincent!

We are thrilled that you have chosen to join this amazing academic community. The College recognizes that this is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in your lives—we are committed to providing you with a broad range of services and programs designed to support your success and quality of life both in and outside of the classroom.

The transition from high school to college is an exciting time. Orientation at the College of Mount Saint Vincent guides students into the Mount community, offering students an opportunity to get their class schedules, obtain their student IDs, connect with an array of services and support programs, meet new people, begin making friends, and learn about student organizations.

Many of your joined us for New Student Orientation in June, but if you were unable attend those sessions, you can still register for the make-up and transfer student orientation on Thursday, August 22, 2019.

We also look forward to welcoming you to campus on August 22 for move-in day. As you arrive, we’ll be working hard to ensure you’re comfortable, connect you with on- and off-campus resources, and introduce you to all the Mount and NYC has to offer before you begin classes. Plus, we have numerous events planned for you as we celebrate Welcome Weekend from August 22-25.

We can’t wait to see you!

Please contact us if you have any questions—and remember to read through and complete the Orientation checklist!
