New Student Orientation
Welcome to the Mount!
Orientation is an exciting and important start to your experience as a new student at the Right Place on the River—you’ll learn about the resources and opportunities across our dynamic campus community, allowing you the chance to settle into college life before the semester begins.
Orientation Preview Days
Orientation Preview Days are half day sessions where students can come to campus to get their ID pictures taken, learn about their class schedules, and about financial aid/student accounts. Students only need to register for 1 session. Can’t make a session? Don’t worry! Students can get all this information in August at New Student Orientation and Welcome Weekend!
Session 1 – June 23*
Session 2 – June 26
Session 3 – June 27*
Session 4 – July 20
Session 5 – July 21
Session 6 – July 24
*Please note that Sessions 1 and 3 have reached capacity and are no longer open for registration. We encourage you to select another open session!

New Student Orientation and Welcome Weekend | August 24-27
Orientation and Welcome Weekend is open to all new students—you’ll meet with campus leaders, participate in educational and social programs, and learn about all of the services the Mount has to offer. Plus, students will get their student ID, meet with our advisors in our student support programs, learn about all of our campus services, and so much more! We’ll prepare you for all you need to know to be ready for the first day of classes. Planning to live on campus? Resident students will move into their Fall housing assignments on August 24.
Registration for Orientation and Welcome Weekend is not required. Stay tuned for additional details!
