Hollywood on Hudson Film Production Program
Earn an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts with a Specialization in Film Production
The University of Mount Saint Vincent’s Hollywood on Hudson Film Production Program prepares aspiring filmmakers, content creators, and production professionals with the creative, technical, and professional skills needed to pursue careers in film, television, digital media, and entertainment.
Designed as a hands-on, craft-focused learning experience, this 60-credit degree program combines a strong liberal arts foundation with immersive training in film production and post-production. Students gain practical experience across the filmmaking process while developing storytelling, communication, and technical production skills that prepare them for today’s rapidly evolving media landscape.
Through partnerships with Great Point Studios/Lionsgate, the Robert Halmi Sr. Academy of Film and Television, and support from the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), students gain valuable exposure to professional film and television production environments. Experiential learning opportunities provide students with insight into production workflows, mentorship, and real-world industry practices, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and career readiness.
