City of New York Council Honors CMSV’s Class of 1948

Riverdale, N.Y. – The Council of the City of New York has issued a proclamation to honor the University of Mount Saint Vincent’s Class of 1948 on the occasion of their 65th Class Reunion. The proclamation was presented during the 2013 Reunion celebration on Saturday, June 10, 2013.

Issued by Speaker Christine Quinn on behalf of the Council, the proclamation cites the pioneering achievements of the Class of 1948, and their outstanding service to New York and the world. It states: “While the Class of 1948 was comprised of 177 unique graduates, all of them have helped transform our world, paving the way for current and future generations of women.”  Christine Quinn’s mother was a member of the Class of 1948.
