College Launches RN to BS Degree Program

The University of Mount Saint Vincent has launched an RN to BS degree program beginning in the spring 2006 semester. The program will allow RNs to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in nursing within two years. Classes will begin January 23, 2006.
The new program features late afternoon and evening classes to accommodate the schedules of working RNs. Students in the RN to BS program may receive up to 65 transfer credits for an associate degree in nursing and 30 transfer credits for an RN diploma. Additionally, twelve of the credits earned through the RN to BS program may be used towards a master’s degree.
