College of Mount Saint Vincent Community Provides Relief to Victims of Hurricane Sandy in the Rockaways and Long Beach

Riverdale, N.Y. – The Student Government Association of the University of Mount Saint Vincent, in collaboration with the Office of Student Activities and Campus Ministry, will travel to the Rockaways and Long Beach, N.Y. at 9 a.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012. to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Donations to those who have been affected by the storm are being accepted in the College’s Alumnae Pavilion. Victims are in need of water, hats, gloves, scarves, coats, baby formula, and cleaning supplies. Those interested in volunteering to help victims of Hurricane Sandy on Sunday, November 11, 2012 can sign up in the Alumnae Pavilion by Friday, November 9, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Buses will be provided to shuttle members of our students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
