Environmental Club Hosts Free Events for Campus Community
In an effort to promote Environmental Week (April 6-11) the University of Mount Saint Vincent’s Environmental Club is hosting several free events for the campus community. The group is attempting to better educate students, faculty and staff about environmental concerns and advocate for a greener campus overall. Solar panels, wind power, eco-friendly facilities and cars are some of the ideas being espoused. The recycling of more waste materials on campus, not just bottles, and the promoting of healthier diets, are among their goals. Below is a list of upcoming environmental events:
