11/12/2018

Riverdale, N.Y. – The University of Mount Saint Vincent hosted a panel discussion, “Gendered Justice in the Age of #MeToo,” on November 12 in the President’s Reception Room.

The #MeToo movement has called new attention to issues of gender and sex in America—from corporate boardrooms to Hollywood to Washington D.C.

What does this means for social justice?

Attendees joined panelists Nina Aversano, Chair of the Department of Accounting, Business, and Economics and Assistant Professor of Management; Sr. Arleen Ketchum, Former Director of the Elizabeth Seton Women’s Center; Omar Nagi, Associate Professor of Sociology; and Daniel Opler, Chair and Associate Professor of History as they discussed one of the defining issues of our time.
