Lenten Lecture – Rolling Away Stones: Spirituality and Forgiveness with Sister Regina Bechtle

Sr. Regina serves as the charism resource director for the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul of New York, a congregation she has been a member of since 1962. She previously served on the congregation’s leadership council and as director of the Center for Leadership and Spirituality. In academia she has held such positions as resident scholar at the Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research, Collegeville, Minn., and assistant professor of theology at Maryknoll School of Theology, Maryknoll, N.Y.
Sister Regina is an active member of numerous organizations including the Catholic Theological Society of America and the History of Women Religious Network. She also serves on the advisory board of the Vincentian Studies Institute. Sister Regina holds doctorate and master’s degrees from Fordham University, and a bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College.
