Theater is in the University of Mount Saint Vincent’s DNA. Legendary 19th century Shakespearean actor Edwin Forrest once owned much of the land on which the campus now sits, including Fonthill Castle, a beloved histroic landmark that once served as Forrest’s residence. The actor designed it to resemble the Scottish domicile inhabited by one of his favorite on-stage characters, Macbeth. RMTG is delighted to add to the campus’s rich theatrical legacy.
RMTG is excited by the opportunity to help create a unique performance venue at the College, and to program that space with exciting presentations of theater and dance. For tickets, directions, and additional details, visit www.redmonkeytheater.org.
