Anthony Williams has a master’s degree in economics and has been a researcher for over 10 years, most notably for a small independent research company, Hudson County Community College, Metropolitan College of New York, and the University of Mount Saint Vincent.
At the research company, he led a small team of researchers to critically assess the state of family homelessness through the process of triangulation, maintained various databases, and reviewed statistical interpretations before being published in monthly journal entries.
At Hudson County Community College, Anthony continued to use a variety of methods to gather, analyze, and interpret data. As a research coordinator, he frequently assisted departments by collecting, interpreting, and analyzing datasets necessary for particular projects or surveys. He played a critical role in the overall assessment of the College by developing surveys to help departments run in a more efficient and effective manner.
At Metropolitan College of New York, Anthony continued to utilize various statistical and analytical techniques to assist the College in strengthening the teaching and learning process, ensuring institutional improvement, and facilitating for accountability purposes. Anthony worked closely with all facets of the institution to not only ensure regulatory state and federal mandates were met, but also to maintain a systematic assessment plan.
At the University of Mount Saint Vincent, Anthony analyzes, interprets, and disseminates date to drive departmental decision-making processes and ensure the University’s effectiveness. As the Director of Institutional Research and Assessment, Anthony works with all facets of the University to develop and maintain cyclical processes of assessment and provide key performance indicators and other critical data elements to departments.
