Gary Maida began his professional career at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was the first physician’s assistant to be employed by the hospital. For the past 40 years, Professor Maida has been working in private practices across New York City’s five boroughs, focusing on pediatrics. Currently, he works at Premier Pediatrics—one of Staten Island’s leading pediatric practices—where he provides PA students with hands-on training.
