Engage With Your Future Series
The Oxley Integrated Advising Program at the University of Mount Saint Vincent is thrilled to announce Engage With Your Future, a series of engagement events designed for sophomores but open to all students. These events promote career, academic, and social opportunities that inspire growth and encourage forward-thinking. We urge everyone to participate in any or all of the events, developed to expand minds and help students explore the possibilities of their academic and career journey. We warmly welcome our partners to join us in this unique opportunity to connect with students eager to learn about life after college and how to best prepare for it.
Engage With Your Future will culminate on April 17th with a Career Fair for all students.
Please register for each event you plan to attend. All events will occur at the University of Mount Saint Vincent’s campus.
Students
Sophomore Orientation | April 11 | 12-3 PM
- Who: All sophomore students are welcome to learn more about what is next on your journey through UMSV. Each student will be entered into a raffle to win TOP prizes and giveaways!
- Lunch will be served!
Career Fair | April 17 | 6-7:30 PM
- Who: All students are welcome to attend the Career Fair! Students can engage with professional partners to learn about upcoming events, jobs, internships, etc. Sophomores will be invited to attend an orientation earlier in the day.
- What to Bring/Wear: Students are highly encouraged to bring a resume and to dress in business or professional attire.
Partners
Career Fair | April 17 | Partner Mixer: 5-6 PM | Career Fair: 6-7:30 PM
- Who: All partners are encouraged to attend and table to share opportunities for all students across all disciplines: internships, jobs, volunteer opportunities, or events. Students are eager to learn how they can contribute to your company’s goals and future.
- What to Bring: Partners are welcome to bring business cards, company materials, tablecloths, applications, info sheets, etc., to effectively communicate your message and needs to students.
- Refreshments will be served from 5-6 PM during the Partner Mixer.
