Gail Lavin Murphy, PA-C is a founding faculty member and currently serves as the Program Director. Dr. Murphy began her clinical career in emergency medicine and remains active clinically in a local emergency department. She has been involved in PA education since 2009 and helped to launch another successful PA program in NYS. She brings a passion for innovation, collaboration, and student-centered learning.
Dr. Murphy is dedicated to creating a dynamic and supportive educational environment where students thrive academically and personally. Her leadership emphasizes wellness, resilience, and professional growth while preparing compassionate, practice-ready clinicians equipped to serve diverse communities and meet the evolving needs of healthcare.
