Professor Marsha Williamson has practiced nursing for more than 20 years. She joined the full-time faculty at University of Mount Saint Vincent in Fall 2021. Marsha is currently board certified as an Adult and Family Health Nurse Practitioner and continues to maintain nursing certifications in Nursing Professional Development and Critical Care Nursing.

She is the Clinical Course Coordinator for Adult Health and Adult Health Nursing III. She has taught Adult Health III and Pathophysiology courses for the undergraduate and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs at the Mount. She is also a member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. Marsha has a nursing background in medical surgical nursing, critical care, neurosurgery, nursing education, and simulation.

She has presented on the use of simulation to teach Cultural Humility with Undergraduate Nurses at the Society for Simulation in Healthcare IMSH conference and on a quality improvement project focused on reducing discomfort associated with IV insertion by using ACCUVein and topical anesthetic in adult patients at the Northwell Research Conference. Her volunteer activities include service at the Westchester Food Bank and City Harvest, Stop the Bleed program, and Hands Only CPR program. Marsha is currently a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner.
