D2C Justice Institute
The Global Hub of Justice-Centered Education
The D2C Justice Institute at the University of Mount Saint Vincent is established to advance justice-centered leadership, education, and community impact.
Housed at UMSV, the Institute will serve as a hub for education, training, public programming, and community engagement focused on justice, restorative practices, leadership development, and inclusion. The partnership reflects a shared commitment by both organizations to foster meaningful dialogue paired with action—both on campus and beyond.
Mission
To cultivate systems and leaders by advancing justice through education, strategy, and action.
Justice Pillars
Our strategy is centered on serving as an ecosystem for interdisciplinary justice education, applied research, and community engagement through:

- Economic Justice | Emphasizes mobility, workforce, and opportunity
- Criminal Justice | Addresses accountability, reform, and trust
- Restorative Justice | Centers healing, repair, and reconciliation
- Procedural Justice | Strengthens institutional trust, fairness, and legitimacy
