ACE Physical Therapy and Wellness Center
Intern Opportunities | Learn about the center
- Prepare for therapy sessions by organizing the treatment locations based on the patient’s needs
- Work with and observe the physical therapist
- Help patients with exercises in the fitness center
- Set up patients with cold and heat packs
- Observe the patients’ development during therapy sessions and make notes on how the patients respond.
(therapists and physical therapy assistants use these notes to evaluate the effectiveness of specific treatments for the patients)

Intern Opportunities | Learn about the program
- Track, manage, and maintain all sensitive paperwork and
electronic data related to the Future Leaders Program
- Gain experience in the preparation and co-facilitation of program workshops
- Strengthen presentation skills and learn how to manage large groups of youth
- Interact, foster, and maintain positive relationships
with a variety of people, including high schools and community-based
organizations, to recruit candidates and report participant progress
- Create and complete payment forms while processing participants’ payment requests bi-weekly
- Effectively coordinate, schedule, and execute program events that includes special guest speakers
