Eligibility and Requirements

Students are eligible to register for internships during the fall, spring, winter, and summer sessions. Interns earn three credits by working 120 hours at the internship site and completing academic and career-related assignments.

All internships must be approved by the Faculty Chairperson of their major with consultation from the Director for Career Education and Internships. Students may earn up to three credits for internships during their time at the University.

Students are required to sign an Internship Agreement, which specifies the number of hours they will work per week, their responsibilities, and their internship assignments. The site supervisor, faculty supervisor and Director of Career Education and Internships also sign the agreement. The Director of Career Education will register students for the course; the student cannot self-register.
