Minor and Concentration in History

The minor in history requires 18 course credits in history, selected in consultation with the Coordinator of the Minor in History, including:

One history core course maximum (HIST 201, 202, 203, 205, 214, 215, or 220)
Three upper-level credits in U.S. History (300-level or 400-level)
Three upper-level credits in European History (300-level or 400-level)
Three upper-level credits in Global History (300-level or 400-level)
Six upper-level elective credits in history (300-level or 400-level)

The concentration in history for history majors requires 12 course credits. History majors will select a concentration in one of several available areas of history in consultation with their academic advisor.
